We found this headless guy in the creek today. The legend begins….. Have you got a Six Word Saturday? Tell me all about it in comments or put a fancy picture on Instagram and tag #sixwordsaturday. Have a lovely weekend!
After we had been grocery shopping this morning Mr Y climbed up a tree and had a little seaweed snack. Want to make a post a Six Word Saturday? Write on a photo or just write six words. Easy peasy. To make this picture, I used A Beautiful Mess app and Phonto app on the iPhone and iPad. Link to yours in the comments, post on Instagram #sixwordsaturday or just leave me six words. I would love to see them. Happy weekend and Happy Mother’s Day to all you mamas for tomorrow.
I have not had Dandelion and Burdock for years and years! Can’t wait to drink one of these. Do you have a favourite childhood drink? I used to like Tizer and Iron Bru too. Got a Six Word Saturday? Link in the comments, write it in the comments or post on Instagram with #sixwordsaturday.
Mr Y won a cupcake ring for me at the school picnic today! He played bean bag tic-tac-toe until he won it. I hope you are having a sunny Saturday, if you want to play Six Word Saturday, leave one in the comments or use #sixwordsaturday on Instagram.
It has been a lovely day today, a perfect mow the grass and clear out the shed day! We moved out the bazilion plastic plant pots. The ones you keep because they will be useful one day and before you know it, you have a shed full. So, we had a plant pot cull, swept out the cobwebs and put everything back. All nice and tidy, for now. Are you having a Spring clean? Planting lots of seeds? What are you growing? Got a Six Word Saturday? Do share. Happy Easter and happy Spring!
Boot camp at the track this morning and look who I saw, just hanging around! Share your Six Word Saturday on Instagram or here in the comments! Seen anyone famous lately?!
This morning, we joined the local parks department and REI for the annual Stream Clean Up. Breakfast snacks and coffee were provided, we got trash bags, gloves and grabbers and off we went. In a couple of hours we had all filled about 10 trash bags with rubbish and debris. Time for lunch. Hot dogs, veggie burgers and chips – the lunch of trash gathering champions! As we were gathering cans, plastic and household debris, we came across a couple of golf balls, a little hexagonal tile and a lovely coat button! Have a happy weekend! What are you up to? Hopefully you have some lovely weather to enjoy.
